Role of a Team Manager for Extra & Spring Select
The Team Manager keeps the team organized and the sideline positive, modeling AYSO philosophies and upholding the Kids FIRST Zone® standard. Core duties include sending weekly updates and handling last-minute changes; managing rosters, headshots, and player/coach IDs/forms; recruiting referees and helpers and confirming required trainings; gathering uniform sizes/numbers and distributing kits; coordinating practices, game info, Picture Day, and team duties; prepping game cards, reminding refs, and submitting scores/card photos by the deadline. For tournaments, the manager supports AYSO-only event approvals, paperwork, and timing, and helps cap the season with a simple, fun team celebration.
