Referee Instructions

We encourage both coaches before game time to consult one another if there is a referee available to officiate the game.

The home team is encouraged to provide the referee or recruit a referee to officiate the game, but we also hope the away team will be willing to provide assistance should the home team be unable to provide a referee.

U6 and U8 Divisions have never required to have a certified referee, but we strongly encourage those that enjoy refereeing to look into becoming an official AYSO Certified Referee!

Assistant Referees and Club Linesman are not required for games.

Important Dates

Referee Course #1 - Sunday, March 1st from 3:00 PM - 6:30 PM.
Location: Redlands Sports Complex

Referee Course #2 - Monday, March 9th from 5:30 - 8:45 PM.
Location: Redlands Sports Complex
